We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

Tracking Pixel
The Site uses Facebook Pixel technology to help us measure the success of advertising campaigns and to target advertisements to specific groups of Facebook users. Learn more about Facebook Pixel tracking technology here.
Other Personally Identifiable Information
We may also ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your name and e-mail address, and personal account preferences; transactional data, such as purchase information; and technical data, such as cookies. We use these data to improve your experience on the site.
Data Retention
We generally retain information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, or for as long as we are legally required to continue to keep it, as described below in “How long we retain your data.”
We will also retain comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.
Comments
Blog
If you leave a comment, we receive the following data: commenter’s name, email address, and site URL (if provided to the comment form), submission date/time, and IP address.
Additionally, a jetpack.wordpress.com IFrame receives the following data: WordPress.com blog ID attached to the site, ID of the post on which the comment is being submitted, commenter’s local user ID (if available), commenter’s local username (if available), commenter’s site URL (if available), MD5 hash of the commenter’s email address (if available), and the comment content.
As part of its required connection with wordpress.com, Jetpack synchronizes all data and metadata associated with a user’s comment. This is to ensure that is matches the corresponding data (if any) on wordpress.com servers.
Akismet Anti-Spam (owned by Automattic) is enabled on the site and sends the following information to the service for the sole purpose of spam checking: commenter’s name, email address, site URL, IP address, and user agent.
Web Store
When visitors leave comments or product reviews on the Web Store, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Gravatar Service
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Likes
To process a “like” action, we use the WordPress.com user ID (if the user is signed in to WordPress.com), the local site-specific user ID (if the user is signed in to the site on which the like occurred), and a true/false data point that tells us if the user liked a specific comment. If a like action is performed from one of the WordPress mobile apps, some additional information is used to track the activity: IP address, user agent, timestamp of event, blog ID, browser language, country code, and device info.
We track by whom, and when, a specific comment was liked.
Media
If you upload images or other media files to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
The comment author’s name, email address, and site URL (if provided during the comment submission) are stored in cookies. Learn more about these cookies.
If you leave a comment on the Web Store, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
We also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing the Site.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, documents, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Whom we share your data with
We share information with third parties who help us keep track of our subscribers and customers, improve our marketing messages, and make it as easy as possible for new consumers to find us. We share information in the following ways.
Analytics
This site uses various web analytics services provided by Yoast SEO, Google Analytics, and Drip Email Marketing, to assist us in determining who is accessing the Site, when they access it, and how they are using it. You can learn more about the privacy practices of these analytics providers here:
Drip Email Marketing Privacy Policy
Behavioral Advertising
We share data about visitors to our Site with Facebook. This allows Facebook to optimize ad delivery based on characteristics of the Site’s users.
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s (“NAI”) educational page at http://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/how-does-it-work.
You can opt out of targeted advertising through each provider as indicated below:
Additionally, you can opt out of some of these services by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out portal at: http://optout.aboutads.info/.
Commerce and Permission-Based Marketing
We use WooCommerce to power our Web Store. You can read more about how WooCommerce uses your Personal Information here.
We also use Drip Email Marketing to stay in touch with subscribers who have opted in to receive marketing e-mails from us. Avenue 81, the provider of this service, retains the data you provide (such as name, email address, and time zone) on its own servers for our convenience, and we use this Personal Information to organize our e-mail list in accordance with our marketing goals. You can opt out of this service at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any e-mail you receive from us, or by contacting us in writing as indicated below.

Please see the PayPal Privacy Policy for more details.
Legal Compliance
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
‘Do not track’ signal
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
Your rights
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including but not limited to the United States.
How long we retain your data
As a general rule, we retain your data for no longer than necessary for the purposes outlined above and in accordance with our legal obligations and legitimate business interests.
If you subscribe to our marketing e-mail list, we will retain your name, email address, and automatically collected data (as described above in “Commerce and Permission Based Marketing”) for as long as we determine that you are engaged with our communications. We conduct periodic “pruning” operations to minimize the number of disengaged subscribers.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
For users who opt to register through our Web Store, we also retain the Personal Information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their Personal Information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Minors
The Site is intended to be used by adults and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under age 13. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so that we can take steps to remove such information and terminate any account your child has created with us.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor reviews and comments may be checked through automated spam detection services such as Akismet. We must also transmit data outside the Site to third parties whose services we rely on, as described above in “Whom we share your data with.” Consumers located in the European Union are advised that the Site uses a hosting service based in the United States of America. The Site uses a secure domain employing Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS).
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information, we will notify you by email to the email address specified in your account and/or through a notice on the Site home page. This notice will be displayed for not less than thirty (30) days from the date of any substantive revision. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the end of this page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our Site and this page to check for any changes.
